This single-storey property makes a tranquil base for a couple or small family looking to explore the popular seaside town of St Ives, known as the ‘dazzling jewel in Cornwall’s crown’. Set within over 100 acres of woodland, the holiday park has a swimming pool, games room and bar/restaurant open between March and October, and the nature trail, children’s play area and picnic areas open year-round. St Ives is less than 4 miles away – there’s a bus stop at the holiday park for ease – and it’s packed with fun for all the family. Choose from one of four main beaches around the town, each offering golden sands and clear waters, or get cultural with a trip to the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, Tate St Ives, or the open-air Minack Theatre. Explore the maze of cobbled streets and independent boutiques, sample the many delicious cafes and restaurants, or enjoy the ambience of the thriving fishing harbour.

The cottage was in a great location and was very well presented and clean on arrival but it was cold and mouldy. The main bedroom was tiny and I hurt my legs moving around. The bed was so uncomfortable. There were no towels - I checked the description which stated bedlinen and towels included. There was also no games and dvds as detailed which as Read morethere was no WiFi left us bored of an evening when little one was in bed. Also the garden was overgrown with weeds and nettles which stood out otherwise grounds of a really well kept holiday park. Hide

When we arrived, the lodge was filled with cheap air freshners which were awful. On removing them, it became apparent why they had put them in. The lodge is cold and damp and the bedrooms had a smell of cats pee. Very uncomfortable beds. Exterior and garden overgrown and scruffy. We came home early for a good night's sleep!
