Let your dog have its day with a trip to Norfolk’s lively countryside, filling your days with epic dog walks, games of fetch and plenty of stops for treats and pub lunches. This annexe-style property provides a box-ticking base for two guests and one dog to call their own, complete with its own courtyard garden for soaking up the sunshine with a morning coffee or late-night sundowner as required. The property is situated on the brink of The Broads, just a short distance to Bungay (4 miles) and Beccles (4.5 miles) and a little further away from the beaches on the Suffolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (15 miles).
Pass through the courtyard garden with a handy bistro set as you let yourself into the holiday home. Pass the shower room that’s just off the hallway and venture inside, stopping off in the lovely light-filled lounge/kitchen/diner area. This room is well-furnished with plush seating, a dining table for four and a compact yet fully-functional kitchen – everything you need for cooking, dining and relaxing. Leave your furry friend to curl up and snooze in here as you step through into the bedroom, jumping into the double bed to rest up ahead of walkie adventures yet to come.
Get to know the immense waterways of The Broads with a riverside walk or even a dog-friendly boat trip from Beccles. The River Waveney stretches through both neighbouring towns, so you might wish to start at one and follow the waterfront route along to the other! If a trip to the beach is preferable for your four-pawed pal, then cross the border into Suffolk and head for the coast. The expansive sandy stretch of Covehithe Beach (15 miles) is dog-friendly all year round and offers ample room for chasing tennis balls and splashing in the sea.
