This pretty house is an ideal coastal getaway for couples, friends or small families, with a fully enclosed garden for your canine companion. It’s just metres from dog-friendly Broad Haven Beach, and after a day on the golden sands you can chill out in the conservatory or the comfortable lounge, or perhaps have a delicious dinner alfresco.
From your parking space head down the steps and through the front door, hanging your leads in the hallway. The lounge to your right has a fresh, nautical feel, and boasts comfortable seating, a flame-effect electric fire and a Freesat TV and DVD - just the spot for a relaxing evening. Alternatively, head to the conservatory for some quiet time enjoying the sun set with the sound of the sea for company. The pretty kitchen is well designed for easy holiday cooking, with a table for dining together. The two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, are both on the first floor, sharing a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Both bedrooms are bright and airy, with ample storage space. In the garden, a really useful feature is the outside tap, which you can use for cleaning wetsuits as well as sandy paws. There are a few beach toys in an outside store, and a patio with dining furniture, as well as loungers for catching some rays.
The house is set on a small development within the traditional seaside village of Broad Haven, and the beach, pubs, shops and places to eat are all conveniently close at hand. Walk the coastal path for some breathtaking views, or hire a paddleboard and get out on the water. For groceries and shopping, Haverfordwest is 6 miles, while Britain’s smallest city, St David’s, is 15 miles.
