Stay at this delightful barn conversion cottage to enjoy a cute romantic retreat in stylish and comfortable surroundings with up to two canine companions. The surroundings of the owners’ farm make this a wonderfully peaceful place to stay, whilst the proximity of the stunning Penwith Heritage Coast ensures that you and your beloved dogs can enjoy many miles of coastal walks together.
This cottage is one of two at this quiet rural retreat and is laid out over a single level, with one step leading up to the front door. Once inside, you will be greeted by the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where a wood burner-effect gas fire keeps the room lovely and warm, lighting the room with a cosy glow. There is plenty of space to relax here for guests and their puppy pals with the wooden dining table seating two, in addition to which there is an outdoor table and chairs on the patio which is accessed through French windows. The bedroom, meanwhile, has been styled as a restful sanctuary-like space featuring a four-poster bed to flop on to. The owners are always happy for guests to take a look around the farm to meet the resident animals, and this is always a memorable part of their holiday for those who make time to do so.
Set within 1.5 miles of one of the most beautiful stretches of UK coastline, a stay at this cottage allows you to really make the most of the area’s coastal walks and quiet beaches. The closest beach can be found at nearby Gwynver, a popular spot with surfers and locals, thanks to its fabulously secluded location. The path down to the beach is quite steep in places, but it is well worth the effort to enjoy this stunning dog-friendly stretch of sand.
