Tastefully decorated, you’ll notice the exquisite attention to detail as soon as you enter the property; with its stunning oak-beamed ceiling and preserved white-wash stone walls. Upon opening the front door, you’ll step into a convenient hallway before making your way to the cosy lounge area and kitchen; both complete with wood burners to achieve that snug feel. Upstairs are three calming neutral-toned bedrooms; a king-size, a double and a twin to accommodate a family of six. Finally, the property features an enclosed patio area where the dog can go off and stretch their legs as you relax indoors.
The nearest pub and restaurant are less than a mile from the cottage, so you don’t have to travel too far to grab a bit to eat or socialise in the evenings. One of the most popular attractions in the area is the medieval ruins of Harbottle Castle which is just 0.5 miles away. The backdrop has been featured in the likes of Downton Abbey and Harry Potter and the good news is that you’re free to bring your dog along too. Dark Sky Park is just 1.6 miles away and is Europe’s largest area of protected night sky to participate in a spot of stargazing.
