A true walkers paradise in the heart of the South Downs National Park, this charming cottage is perfectly appointed for two guests and one small / medium dog. Located on the grounds of the owner’s home, this lovingly presented cottage offers an ever-comfortable base for two weary walkers and their faithful friend. Explore both countryside and the nearby coastline by day, heading home to put your feet (or paws) up in the cosy lounge or furnished outdoor space on an evening.
This single storey property has been updated with a neutral décor to offer a wonderfully bright and cheerful space to stay. On arrival, pay attention to the hot and cold outdoor taps outside, a valuable pitstop for cleaning off muddy paws and walking boots. Hang coats up in the handy porch area whilst your canine companion makes a beeline for the electric wood burning effect stove, a cosy spot for drying off and snoozing. A separate washing machine is available for you to throw in muddy towels and dog coats leaving you free to sink into a cushy armchair and flick through the TV, resting and recharging for another long day of walkies ahead.
Head out from your doorstep to enjoy walks in the South Downs National Park, finding the vast rural space just moments from home. Let your pup lead the way to the local town of Arundel (7.5 miles), enjoying a waterside walk along the River Arun and stopping off for a well-earnt pint or bite to eat in a welcoming local. You’ll find the coastal towns of Worthing (4 miles) and Brighton (13.5 miles) nearby and well worth a visit, as well as the dog-friendly pebbled shores of Goring Beach just 3 miles away.
