The property has two reception rooms, plus a vast dining area and outdoor space that’s ideal for entertaining. The Cowal Peninsula is a paradise for walkers, with its beaches, lochs, and forests to explore. You can also enjoy day trips on the ferry to the Isle of Bute and Gourock.
The period property has large rooms, high ceilings, and bay windows that flood the house with natural light. You’ll find ample space for entertaining, with a vast kitchen/diner that has a table to seat everyone and two impressive lounge areas, both with Smart TVs and sea views. Eight stylish bedrooms are arranged across the five floors, seven of which have en-suite facilities. Please note, the fifth-floor bedroom is accessed via a steep, narrow staircase. The property also has an office, family bathroom, and a handy utility room. Outside, across the private car park, is an enclosed lawn, where your canine buddies can play. There’s also a decked area with a hot tub, BBQ, and outdoor furniture. To the rear of the property is a small patio, where you can sip a coffee whilst the hounds stretch their legs.
Stroll out of the front garden and onto Dunoon’s shingle beach. The beach welcomes dogs all year, so they can splash around on the shore and play fetch, whatever the season. Just along the coast, is the beautiful sandy beach at Ardentinny (13 miles). Set on the banks of Loch Long, the beach offers waterside strolls, as well as woodland trails, and has some gorgeous picnic areas. From Colintraive (20 miles) you can hop on the ferry to the Isle of Bute, which also has a plethora of sandy beaches and walking trails.
