This romantic retreat boasts a prime riverside position in the idyllic village of Lynmouth, within beautiful Exmoor National Park. The property is perfect for couples looking to explore this breathtaking landscape with their waggy-tailed companion, with coastal, countryside, and woodland walks directly from the cottage. Nearby doggy days out include the sandy beaches of Woolacombe (21 miles) and Saunton Sands (25.5 miles), and the Victorian town of Ilfracombe (19.5 miles).

The cosy cottage seamlessly blends contemporary interiors with characterful original features. The decor is neutral, and a plethora of creature comforts ensure maximum relaxation. After a long dog walk, chill out in the welcoming lounge/diner, where you can stretch out on the sofa to watch the Smart TV whilst the woofer warms their paws by the wood burner-effect electric fire. A cute bistro table by the window is the perfect spot for romantic dinners for two, which you can whip up in the separate, well-appointed kitchen. When day turns to night, retire to the elegant double bedroom, which is decorated in tones to reflect the surrounding landscape. A refreshing shower room completes the accommodation. There is no outside space, however, a pretty harbour is on your doorstep, and you’ll find a paw-friendly beach within 0.5 miles.

Let Rover lead the way on a stroll around Lynmouth, popping into the many woof-welcoming shops and exploring the bustling harbour. From Lynmouth, you and your furry companion can climb aboard the cliff railway to explore Lynmouth’s twin village, Lynton, with its historic buildings and cosy pubs. A short walk from Lynton brings you to the dramatic landscape of Valley of Rocks, where you can enjoy bracing clifftop walks whilst marvelling at the jaw-dropping views and abundant wildlife. For a day at the seaside, the paw-friendly, sandy beach of Woolacombe is 21 miles away.

The property was easy to find. The cottage was extremely comfortable and homely. The stable door in the kitchen was really useful for letting fresh air in and listening to the nearby river also keeping our dog safe. The cottage owners thought of everything you may need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I would thoroughly recommend this pRead moreroperty for people wanting a relaxing stress free break Hide
