This traditional coastal home in the heart of Cornwall’s picturesque Mousehole village boasts sea views, a lawned garden with a BBQ, and traditional cottage interiors. Up to four guests and two beloved hounds can enjoy a slice of seaside living in the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a holiday filled with scenic clifftop strolls, seafood dinners and dips in the crystal-clear water.
Inside the property is a classic, neutral-toned kitchen/diner with a fitted, L-shaped kitchen with wooden cabinets and a central breakfast table with seating for four. Continue into the sleek and airy lounge/diner with white and grey furnishings, coastal-themed decor and an exposed stone feature wall with a wood burner. Behind the sofa and armchairs surrounding the Smart TV is a wooden dining table. Climb the stairs to reach a family bathroom and two bedrooms – a king-size with sea views, and a cosy twin room. Outside is a lawned garden with a decked area and furniture. Completing the property is a convenient utility outbuilding.
During your stay in the fishing port village of Mousehole, wander along the cobblestone streets and stop at the independent eateries and art gallery before watching the boats at the harbour (all within 500 metres). Pack a picnic and some dog treats and head along the South West Coast Path past the standing stones and the Kemyel Nature Reserve until you reach the secluded and stony Lamorna Cove Beach (2.5 miles). Take your four-pawed friends to stretch their legs in the beautifully kept Chygurno Gardens (3 miles) or for a sandy stretch of coastline, visit Pedn Vounder Beach (7.5 miles). You could also spend a day exploring the nearby seaside towns of Newlyn (2 miles) and Penzance (3.5 miles).
