Escape to a 200-year-old detached cottage set on a wooded hillside in the picturesque village of Little Haven – just 800 yards from the beach. This tranquil property is perfect for a small family or couple plus two four-legged, furry companions who love being by the sea. Pack your walking boots and explore the coastal path before stopping for some freshly caught seafood at one of the village’s family-run restaurants. Enjoy a glass of wine in the pretty cottage garden before putting your feet up in the homely living room.

Inside is a bright and airy kitchen with doors that open up onto the patio. After cooking a special meal, eat together at the dining table in the open-plan lounge/diner with a plump sofa and two comfortable armchairs plus a TV. There is also a family bathroom and two bedrooms in this cottage – one double and another master bedroom which has a double bed and an en-suite. Outside is a beautiful garden with a patio, shrubs, trees, a BBQ and furniture.

Stay on the edge of the charming fishing village of Little Haven – the centre (0.5 miles) where you’ll find cosy pubs and restaurants. Wake up in the morning and head straight to the beach, which is 800 yards away. Stroll along to National Trust - The Point for spectacular coastal views. At low tide, walk to the neighbouring village of Broad Haven (1.5 miles) which is a great place for surfing and windsurfing. From Little Haven, you can also follow the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which goes all the way to St Brides (4 miles) and beyond. For an extra special day out if you’re an animal lover, head to Cromer Island to see the puffins – catch a 15-minute ferry from Dale Princess (8 miles).

Enclosed, secure garden. Super close to enclosed fields for off lead walking en route to coastal path. Very comfortable bungalow helped by the good weather so we could spend a lot of of time in the mature garden. Some sun loungers on the grass would have been a nice bonus.

This is a very good quality and comfortable single-storey cottage located within a short walk of the village. It has a lovely garden with a sunny aspect which is both private and dog-proof. Highly recommended.

I had to wipe down the bed frame, it was covered in dust and dog hair, I had to clean out the washing machine for the same reason and wipe the light switches due to dirty finger marks. Other a beautiful cottage in a lovely location

The Leap is on a surprisingly busy country lane. It is narrow in parts and makes walking down into Little Haven quite dangerous particularly after dark. There was a limited amount of hot water available to fill the bath. At about 4" deep the water ran cold. For those not familiar with "Nest" some detailed instructions would be useful.

The Leap is a beautiful cottage in a stunning and very peaceful location. It is very well equipped with lots of little thoughtful touches added too! The garden is a delight to sit in if the weather permits which it certainly did for us, and for those equally lucky you can dine on the patio from breakfast to sundown! A gem of a place!
