For walkies to remember and a panoramic view of the entire area, drive 14 miles to the foot of Pendle Hill, then hike to the 577-metre summit, where you''ll be rewarded with spectacular views. The Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a stunning region of rolling fells on the western edge of the Pennines. Much of the area is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and offers 312 square miles of breathtaking moorland, deep wooded valleys and picturesque villages for you and your faithful friends to explore.
